Layla Moran

Layla Moran is the Liberal Democrat spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and International Development and the Member of Parliament for Oxford West and Abingdon. Layla was the first British Palestinian Member of the United Kingdom Parliament. Layla’s mother is a Christian Palestinian from Jerusalem and her father is a British EU Ambassador. She has lived in many countries including Belgium, Greece, Ethiopia, Jamaica and Jordan and speaks French fluently along with some Spanish, Arabic and Greek. Layla read Physics at Imperial College and holds an MA in Comparative Education.
